Hello there, my name is Kerry Tidwell and I'd like to welcome you to Twirled Up™ !
About me – well, I’m a life-long Texan from Houston with
a love for baking. I grew up watching my
mother decorate cakes and knew early on that I wanted to learn to decorate them
as well. Decorating cakes and cookies
for various celebrations while raising my two sons was always a joy – and now a true blessing to do for my grandchildren!
While I am an enthusiastic home baker/decorator and have a great passion
for creating decorated cakes, cookies and cake pops, I do not profess to be a
professional baker or decorator. I
simply love creating and trying out new things.
Like many people I love the cookie bouquets, but as a
baker found it challenging to bake cookies on a stick. I wanted a way to make a cookie bouquet –
without the cookie stick. Cookies
packaged in cellophane bags and tied with ribbon are one of my favorite party favors and I wanted to find a way to suspend them in a
bouquet. My wish list started
growing. I wanted a dual purpose design
for an easier, more efficient way of putting cookies and cake pops within an
arrangement. I wanted the ability to
easily remove the cookie or cake pop from the arrangement without damaging the treats
– or the arrangement. It needed to be
strong enough to support the weight of these items. After many months
of design testing and
several prototypes of varying materials, the Twirl™ has arrived! The Twirl™ is patented, made with
eco-friendly and durable stainless steel, is reusable and ready to be incorporated
into your next arrangement. The Twirl™
is a delight to work with and has unlimited uses – you’ll be amazed with how easy it is to create a beautiful
and unique arrangement within minutes!
It is truly exciting to see all of the different ideas
that others are coming up with using the Twirl™. Take a look through the
gallery to view examples of the Twirl™ in use. I would love to see what you have
created so please make sure you
contact me and submit a picture of your arrangement showing how you've used it!
